Age: Neonate ( < 50 yrs)
Covenant: Ordo Dracul
City Status: 1
By far the most presentable of the Dragons, Thomas is a pristinely-groomed Lord who boasts the stereotypical good looks of his Swedish ancestry. Tall and thin, with a sharply pronounced bone structure and a commanding gaze, his appearance certainly leads many Kindred to presume him to be a rank-and-file member of the First Estate.
That expectation couldn’t be more wrong. Soderstrom is just as fiery with his words as he is with his eyes. Though not frequently the type for physical confrontation, he is exceptionally combative in debate, and is among the most vicious verbal sparring partners any Kindred could ask for. Or dread.
It’s commonly assumed that, had Soderstrom appeared in the city after the arrival of Devon Rothchild, he would be a Firebrand and not a Dragon. Whatever the case, this neonate was initially vetted by the Invictus, but rapidly and briskly discarded once it was discovered he absolutely refused to respect Elders purely for their age and experience.
He was shortly thereafter picked up by the Ordo Dracul, who were more happy to prove to him their worth. Since then, he has become something of a poster boy for the Covenant—a pretty face to cover for all the hideous misfits the Ordo is more widely known for throughout the city.
Due to his habit for verbal jousting, some of the Harpies have bet that this neonate won’t be around for much longer. But in the same way that he shields his less socially-appealing friends, one might suppose that part of the reason Soderstrom is so brave about criticizing Elders is that he has the physical backing of the Dragons.
The Harpies Whisper…
“I do so hope it was worth it.” – Bastian Thoreaux
“He’s like me, but somehow more of an asshole. I almost admire him. Almost.” – Dominique Carrol
“Perhaps all those people who suppose he would be better off with the Revolution should consider the simple fact that no one likes a contrarian. The man seems intelligent at first blush, but truthfully he is little more than a distraction and a bore.” – Devon Rothchild
“He gets the ladies’ attention, and then he acts like such a prick he makes me look good. Best. Wingman. Ever.” – Scary Jerry
